The title of this article really should be things to bring and things not to bring to coastal vacation resorts. It’s just as important to consider what not to bring because you don’t want to be overloaded. However, you definitely need those tips on not only essential items but extras that make for a better vacation experience. Take it from an expert on the subject and think about how much more fun you’re going to have.
For starters, bring a pair of binoculars. On a beach vacation at a coastal resort, you’re going to want to use them to look out over the ocean waters from your balcony or from the shore. You can spot dolphins and get up close and personal with all kinds of sea life. Binoculars are small and so they don’t take up too much space when it comes to what you decide to take with you. So many people show up to resorts with bag upon bag for the cart, and things are falling all over the place as they try to make their way up to the room.
If you fly, you’re going to be limited to packing only certain things anyway. However, people that drive sometimes think that they need to bring the entire house. That being said, is the resort you’re staying at pet friendly? Again, take it from an expert. If the resort is pet friendly, do not bring Fido. It may sound like a good experience, but how well does your dog do around people and other dogs? What about the elevator? What about room service? What about leaving the dog in your room for long hours, and what about walks and bathroom breaks?
There are so many questions that people don’t consider when they don’t want to leave the family pet at home. Every once in a blue moon, go for it, but you will be reminded that you will have a much easier and better time with your family if you leave the pets at home. You will see them soon and do something special with them, too.
Now it’s time to mention some more things you do want to take. There are the obvious things like your board shorts or swimming trunks, other clothes and the likes. Do you pack the electronics? Certainly you do, but that’s another way people overdo it sometimes. You have your cellphone, and your electronics will most likely be only used at night in the room You’re on the beach! You don’t want to bring the console gaming system and all the extra stuff.
Think about games you can play on the beach and bring those items along. Pack an extra pair of sunglasses, flip flops and all those beach items. Remember that you can always pick up stuff like that at the tourist shops, too. Yet, you do want to be prepared from the get go. With luxury accommodations on the oceanfront at coastal vacation resorts, you don’t really need to bring much, but you get the idea now.
